The squid game on Netflix, from the perspective of a finance professor

The squid game is all about financial addiction.

I’ve been watching The Squid Game, a new series on Netflix and it reminds me of my dissertation topic that focused on financial psychology.

The squid game Focuses on a large group of people who are all deep in debt almost play a life-threatening game in order to have a chance to overcome their serious financial problems.

One of the members of the squid game is a gambling addict who is feeling guilty about putting his mother in a horrible financial situation.

Another player in the squid game is a financial analyst who took too many gambles on financial markets.

There is a gangster, and an old man with a terminal illness.

What the squid game shows us is that financial addictions or greed can put us into terrible situations. He can also have a horrible impact on those that we love, since financial problems tend to ruin marriages, cause tremendous stress, and also create significant mental health issues.
