Finally! All-Natural, Allergen-Free Moisturizers From ItzMade4Me

Natural skin and hair products are becoming more and more popular, however, for some, all-natural is just not enough. ItzMade4Me sells hair and body products that are all-natural and allergen-free — perfect for anyone who is looking to lead a healthier, more holistic lifestyle.

Michelle Stone, a co-founder of ItzMade4Me, was one of those people. After being diagnosed with a gluten allergy, she noticed that eliminating gluten from her diet wasn’t enough. She needed to eliminate the allergen from the skin products she used as well.

“I had changed my eating habits, but I was still breaking out in skin rashes,” Stone said. “The doctor asked about what I use on my skin because some wheat could be in the products that I’m using.”

Wheat in body products is all too common. And for those who are sensitive to it, the wheat can cause rashes, hives, and other allergic reactions. Unable to find what she needed in stores, Stone teamed up with her friend Dasha Hall, a new vegan, to create a line of products that would be healing and nourishing to the skin and hair without additives that include wheat, animal by-products, or nuts.

“She was looking for a product that would meet the vegan guidelines and I was looking for products that were gluten-free. So we put our recipes together and that’s how we came up with the three different butters.”

The brand’s classic blend is the ItzShea shea butter blend that contains 5 high-quality oils like jojoba, coconut oil, and argan oil, plus essential oils like tea tree. Other shea butter-based varieties include the SalShea, featuring sal butter from India, and the MangShea, featuring mango butter.

The newest offering from ItzMade4Me is the Vanilla Young moisturizer. A 2-in-1 formula that can be used on hair and skin, the Vanilla Young moisturizer is also nut-free – meaning it does not contain shea butter, coconut oil, or any other oil derived from a tree nut. Instead, the Vanilla Young moisturizer gains its silky smooth texture from jojoba oil, sal butter, and other nut-free, high-quality ingredients.

As a special-needs educator and allergy sufferer, Stone hopes her brand can reach everyone, but that it has the greatest impact on those who need safe alternatives the most.
